Occasionally we will run a KICK drop campaign where viewers can earn free in-game Rust skins just by watching some of their favorite creators. KICK drops will be exclusive to https://kick.com/ streams in the Rust category.
https://kick.facepunch.com/#drops will display what drops are available and who you should watch to earn rewards. Some are general drops for the entire Rust category and some are specific streamer drops. It will also display dates and times the campaign is active for.
To receive your watch time rewards, you will need to sync your Steam and your KICK accounts to https://kick.facepunch.com/connect
First, sign in with Steam or KICK. It will prompt you to acknowledge the 3rd party permissions for both steps.
Once your accounts are paired you should see the "Activate Drops" button.
Now you are all set!
Once fully synced you have a couple of options:
- Unlink account - this can be used if you accidentally linked a wrong account. It will prompt you to pair your accounts all over again.
- Check For Missing Drops - this should be used if you notice your drops you claimed on Kick.com are not showing up in your Steam inventory after a few hours. (Unclaimed drops expire after 180 days)
You can monitor both your KICK inventory page and your campaigns page for earned watch time and what campaigns are available.
Please see the FAQs at the bottom of https://kick.facepunch.com/ for common questions and what to expect.
________
In the event you are getting errors or extensive issues getting synced we recommend trying it both from mobile or web browser and see if one works better than the other for you.
If you used Google OAuth to sign into Kick for the first time you must finish your Kick account setup and give yourself a username before you can connect your account to the drops website.
If you still need help please submit a ticket to our support team with screenshots of any errors you might be getting, along with what browser/Mobile OS versions you are using so we can work with the KICK team to get them resolved. The more information the better.
Happy watching!
