When using plugins with your Rust server you should be listed under the Modded section. However, you may use certain plugins under the Community section so long as you follow these guidelines.

Any plugin that affects a player’s gameplay in any way. For example, a plugin that changes gather rate, item spawns, player spawns, or smelting mechanics. This includes selling in game items, kits, and resources through a custom UI or external storefront.

Admin plugins are allowed
You may use plugins that assist in administration of your server so long as the plugin does not alter gameplay for the player. You may inform players of rules via plugins, but may not alter the gameplay. For example, you may inform a player they are breaking a group limit on your server, but you may not prevent them from doing so.
Modifications that aid server owners/admins in anti-cheat related duties or troll (annoy) cheat users are allowed but their features should be limited to only that specific user.
Example of common plugins, but not limited to:
Skip Queue and Chat Moderation are allowed
Plugins which allow users to skip queues or coloured name tags are allowed.

Custom Maps
Custom maps are allowed to be used and remain within the community section.
We understand to run a custom map; you may need mods for the custom map to function correctly. For example, you may use mods which customize NPC and other entity spawn and patrol positions, key card puzzle changes are allowed, but you must adhere to the other rules stipulated in this article.
Vanilla convars
You may change any Vanilla convar and remain under the Community section.
Example of commonly changed convars, but not limited to:
- Teamsize, Decay.scale, Populations
Please note most convars are for development and debugging purposes, changing the default values may have undesired side effects on the server's performance - Use at your own risk.
