Output Log

When making a ticket to support we will often ask for you to attach an output_log.txt to help us locate any issues with your game.

Locating the output_log : 

The output_log will be found in your Rust directory from your Steam folders at *\Steam\steamapps\common\Rust

If you did not manually set an install directory for games when setting up Steam then your Rust directory will be located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rust

If you are unsure on where your Rust directory is then you can locate it via the Steam library.

1. Open the Steam library
2. Right-click on Rust
3. Press ‘properties’
4. Go to ‘local files’
5. Hit ‘browse’
